Sourav Ganguly business



The Prince of Kolkata Sourav Ganguly is a household name for the every cricket fan of all over the face, he is the one who changed the dynamics of the Indian national team and he is the one who considered as one of the greatest players and one of the most successful captains for the Indian national team.

Right now the former Indian skipper is the 39th BCCI president of India, and before being elected as the president of BCCI the southpaw was the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal.

 Though in his career Ganguly was not a very fond person about the game of cricket rather he was more interested like rest of the other Bengalis in Football but it was his elder brother Snehashish Ganguly who introduced him to the game of cricket and he was first to become a permanent player in his Scholl cricket team and from there he played many domestic level cricket and even put a great performance in the Ranji Matches as well and then got his call from the Indian national team.



In his first debut test match he played a scintillating inning against the English side and scored a ton which secures his place in the test team and then in the ODI series his wonderful performance against Sri Lanka makes his spot solid in the Indian one-day International team as well.

Sourav Ganguly in the 1999 cricket world cup creates a history along with the wall of the Indian national team Rahul Dravid, both of them formed a wonderful partnership of 318 runs in the world cup which is still now the highest overall partnership score in the history of World cup cricket.

In the year 2000, there was a match-fixing scandal was going with players in the Indian national team and Sachin Tendulkar was not able to lead India in a way which was expected from him so after Sachin resigned from his position, it was Sourav Ganguly who took the steer of the Indian national team.

In his career the Bengal cricket guru Sourav Ganguly has achieved many things and he is one of the most personified characters as well in India, Sourav Ganguly father Chandidas Ganguly was one of the successful businessmen in Kolkata and he was basically from a wealthy family,  his father used to run flourishing print business which is their family business, Sourav now looks after the business apart from that Sourav Ganguly business are there which gives him a hefty amount of money in every quarter.

Sourav Ganguly also has done many endorsements also in his career and he is the one who hosted many television shows in Bengal as well and also he has been a part of many commendatory teams, and also even earlier he owned a hotel in Kolkata as well and he has his own cricket academy and School.
